Happy New Year!

Thank you for everyone who has visited me at Holiday Matsuri, faved, watched, or bought something from me on my Etsy store! My store activity has increased so much in the last year and I am ten-fold grateful for all those who enjoy my art and the items I make. Besides my normal anime art I ended up being even more swamped before Christmas for caricature commissions this year meant for gifts. I'm so glad I was able to finish them all along with my Secret Santa gift. I've also started making digi-stamps which hasn't taken off yet but I have two groups interested in letting me sponsor their challenges. ^o^ They are cute and fun and it's nice to do something with my pen and line art.

Aside from the bout of the flu which hit during the con and died out around Christmas with a mild cough, I had a wonderful season. I spent Christmas Eve with my family and Christmas Day with fiance's ~ On Christmas Eve I went to see Saving Mr. Banks with everyone. Even my dad and fiance loved it! I recommend it to anyone (along with Frozen for anyone who hasn't seen it yet). And my fiance shocked me with real pearls for Christmas T_T Which he really shouldn't have since he made himself broke but they're meant to be my wedding pearls. Which comes to our new years goal....

Getting Married! Finally decided on next November no matter what. It's been getting disheartening with the last few years passing by with no plans, still trying to save money and worry about finances. We are determined to make it happen though so all prayers and good luck welcome our way And of course any support through my store or at cons will definitely be going to the wedding fund!

So here's to 2014! Despite all the bumps and pothills along the way, we keep moving forward and I wish everyone the best for a great new year!

Now today is our belated girl's Christmas Party (slash new years day party) that kept getting pushed back. Along with making chocolate chip cookies! Which we usually do just after thanksgiving... Ah well. Plan to exchange our gifts, enjoy snacks and sparkling grape juice, watch Tokyo Godfather's (my favorite anime movie to watch this time of year!) and whatever else we want.
