Sorry I've been on a long art block but I have so many old sketches I wanna color. The original sketch for this was sketchbook 12? in 2007 and I always wanted to color it. It came out different than I expected but in a good way I hope. Not used to using a darker color palette.

I didn't have real plans for the random pile of stuff, but as I colored they evolved in a bunch of things that make me happy or smile for one reason or another. ^^ Take from the art anything you will, but I like the idea of brightening up someone's day or shedding a little light with a smile.

Love the colouring and I think the darker tones work really well here.
It highlights the contrast between light and dark.

I espicially love the girl's socks ... the colour combo is great and really works.

Oh and the cat is adorable
